How Do You Fit the ZQuiet?
There is no boil-and-bite fitting for ZQuiet. It markets itself as being ready to use out of the box. However, there are some modifications you can make to get it to fit better in your mouth. There are two mouthpieces in the kit, each that pushes the jaw forward differently.

The company’s official FAQs recommend that if you need a better fit to use small scissors to trim the soft plastic and then buff out the rough edges using an emery board or nail file. Aside from this, there is no other physical fitting or adjustment to make.
One recommendation they offer is to soften it by running it under warm/hot tap water before wearing. However, you should never put this mouthpiece in extremely hot water. The ZQuiet mouthpiece is a thermoplastic polymer that will melt if you overheat it.
